The PLUSH NOCTURNE Series, founded and curated by Avery Leigh's Night Palace, is an intimate and magical series of performances, with a distinct focus on non-binary and women performers.  The series aims to shift our collective attention and resources to folks least centered in artistic spaces.  PLUSH NOCTURNE performances range from classical chamber ensembles to interdisciplinary performance art; the series presents a colorful array of genres and mediums coalescing to create vibrant, cohesive, and shimmering evenings of art.

PLUSH NOCTURNE is extremely grateful and proud to call Brooklyn's New Women Space its home and co-producer for its September through January residency.

PLUSH NOCTURNE is excited to present its third installment on January 20th.

The evening will feature Bartok duets for violin by Marandi Hostetter with live visuals

from interdisciplinary artist Sam Schanwald, as well a presentation of Cafe 1907 from The

Pleiades Project, a feminist opera and art song ensemble.

Previous PLUSH NOCTURNE artists have included experimental dance ensemble

ChristinaNoel & the Creature, sarod and tabla duo Camila Celin and Roshni Samlal

the guitar, voice, violins, bass, & percussion ensemble Silver Wynn Sextet, and

experimental violin, voice, bass, & electronics duo Eidolon
